We create designs based on your ideas to give you your perfect wedding or occasional cake at the most reasonable price. Whether modern and contemporary or classic and elegant we aim to cater to your own individuality, personality and style.
City and Guilds qualified and a regular contributor to Wedding Cakes magazine, Cake Tin It have created cakes for all types and sizes of occasions, from intimate family gatherings to Hertford Museum's opening ceremony.
All ingredients are fresh, free-range and top-of-the range, so your cake will taste as delicious as it looks.

Wedding cake is traditionally served in 2.5 cm/1in square pieces, or 5cm x 2.5 cm/ 2 x 1in slices.
If the cake is for a very large gathering the number of servings required can be made up by ordering an additional "kitchen cake", which will not be fully decorated but can be covered with the same basic icing as the main cake.
The chart is based on a cake serving of 2" x 1" for Sponge cakes and 1" square for fruit cakes.

How much notice do you require?
Preferably 3 months for fruit cakes (we like to let them mature!) For all other cakes we like to have at least a month, although we will always do our best to accommodate late orders.
What occasions do you cater for?
Wedding cakes are what we do, along with wedding anniversaries and engagements.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes - please bring your needs to our attention ASAP so we can discuss with you.
I have a tight budget - can I still have a lovely wedding cake?
Yes, yes, yes! Our prices are very competitive and we are happy to work within your budget. Tips for keeping the cost down are: Stick to sponge as it is less expensive to produce than fruit. Keep decor to bows/ribbons and other non-edibles.
I have a picture of a cake I like - can you make it?
We love customers who know what they want and aren't afraid to ask. We can recreate from a picture, along with any alterations you may wish to make.
When do you require payment?
50% non-refundable deposit on booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks before wedding/event.
Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery and set up is included in the price of your cake, within the local area.
